ABSTRACT：Why Google can get massive webpage data and how it can judge how important or valuable a webpage might be? Applying the ideas of connections and relationships to various data, graph theory method can help reveal the nature of the data itself, telling us what relates and what doesn’t, and what’s important and what isn’t. In this talk, we will explain how to understand big data using graph theory.

中國(guó)科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院研究員，博士生導(dǎo)師。 中科院國(guó)家數(shù)學(xué)與交叉科學(xué)中心副主任。畢業(yè)于山東大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系運(yùn)籌學(xué)專業(yè)。分別于1989年、1992年和1995年在山東大學(xué)獲得理學(xué)學(xué)士、碩士和博士學(xué)位。1995年6月至1997年2月在中國(guó)科學(xué)院應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)研究所做博士后。2003年-2012年任數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院院長(zhǎng)助理， 現(xiàn)任中科院國(guó)家數(shù)學(xué)與交叉科學(xué)中心副主任（2012.9--）。國(guó)務(wù)院政府特殊津貼獲得者。主要從事圖論及其應(yīng)用等方面的研究。在國(guó)內(nèi)外多種核心期刊上發(fā)表論文五十余篇。先后主持或參加國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金委基金面上、重點(diǎn)及創(chuàng)新研究群體項(xiàng)目和中國(guó)科技部"973"項(xiàng)目等。
